EMC VMAX SNAP CLONE of oracle db on vmware vm
Can a snap clone of an Oracle Database running in a VMWARE VM environment with EMC VMAX be created when the LUNS are shared across VMs? I know that it is possible if the LUN is dedicated, but in a VM environment, the LUNS would be shared.

Are you using vmdk's for the DB that reside on datastores that are being used for other VM's vmdks? Or are you using RDM's for the DB?
