Growing a standard Thin device

Hello all,

We recently aquired a new VMAX running 5876 code.  We will be provisioning using FAST VP.  I have seen several discussions regrading how to grow a meta but what about if I want to grow a standard thin device that is attached to a host.  When using SMC, and right clicking on the TDEV, I am not given the option to form a meta.  How does one go about expanding this standard device?
