How do we present the target vpsnap device to a host?
Hi,
I have a question on vpsnap. if we want to present the target vpsnap device to the host, what is the procedure for that.

Use a masking view to make it visible to the target host and run a scan on the host. Your VP/Snap LUN should be accessible to your target host.

You may also present the VP/Snap LUN to the production host (or the host that has the source LUNs mounted). Just that you would have to import the VGs using a recreatevg/vgchid (for AIX/HPUX) after you've scanned for the LUNs.

Yes. Just the way you present a standard LUN to a host.

Thanks for the reply, its just the traditional provisioning that needs to be done.
