can you give us more details?

Have you created Initiators groups for all 11 hosts or just one IG? Are you using cascaded groups?

Have you created Port Groups, Storage Groups for all or cascaded groups or each SG separate?

Have you created Masking view?

it's important to know what platform it is as there could be different settings (SCSI-3 Persistent Reserve for example) required for that specific platform.

Its a existing host it IG and MV. The server has cluster

Goudus as Dymanox said correctly it is very critical to know the O.S.

In ESX you need SCSI3 on each device and keep in mind that the devices must have the same LUN addresses when they mapped on the FAs.

Plus the Flags that the FAs must have.

using the command symsnap -sid <> list you will get a list with all the Snaps running on that Array.

The source, as Cody stated, can be many different types.  The target is always a VDEV (a virtual device which is only written to when changes are made to the source devices).

So, the source (STD or other) is the full copy of data.  The target (VDEV) only contains the changed tracks.  Generally speaking, the VDEV only takes up 20% or less of the space that the source does, but this can vary depending on the environment.

Hi All thanks for you help. I completed adding LUN to that server. It was provisioned as DMX provision. They carved up LUNS before so i created a device with the configuration and added to given storage group.
