Open replicator for VMAX
Hello guys,
In coming weeks, we have to migrate the production luns from VNX7500 to VAMX 200 K ...
And we my knowledge, open replicator for symmetrix is the best option for the same.
But, when I am checking for open replicator guides in EMC portal. I am getting all the information about the OPEN migrator.
As my understanding. open migrator is host based tool/software.
Guys, need your help for some techinical guides and migration notes for the same.
Please help !!

Open migrator indeed a host based tool. You want open replicator cold/hot pull or use SANCOPY to push from VNX to VMAX.

dynamox nailed it. If you want to use Open Replicator, the guide to look at is in the SE 7.6 or 8.x documentation set and titled Solutions Enabler Migration CLI Guide - this will talk about Open Replicator and FLM. The 7.6 set is located here
