SRDF/A Network Configuration Document ?
All:
We are in the process of moving our SRDF/A link from a leased AT&T MetroEthernet 600 Mbit/s Link to a leased AT&T SONET 1 Gbit/sec Link. Our network team has asked me how to configure the Link. I'm not a network guy. I think they are asking like MTU size, duplex, speed, QoS, etc. I have been searching around "support.emc.com" for such a document (I think that I have seen such a document in years gone buy.), but I can't find one (or anything easily) on the new "support.emc.com". Does anybody know of such a document?
We did try to move our SRDF/A from the old link to the new Link, and we got a bunch of these messages from ECC:
As you can see we tried to move the Link on Christmas Day! We moved the Link back and everything was okay.

All:
I never did get a good answer to the question above. But here is what happened:
1. After several attempts to move the link, all resulting in a ton of "SRDF Link Errors" we finally called EMC for help.
2. Our EMC TC lined us up with a guy who does nothing but set up and trouble-shoot SRDF installations.
3. He set a "Speed Limit Group" on the RE ports on our VMAX which limited the maximum output of the RE ports to an aggregate 800 Mbit/sec; and this brought the problem under control (we only get the error messages once in a while.).
Apparently the old 600 Mbit/sec link was able to function just fine, with no Speed Group Limits, but the new link needs Speed Group Limits, or SRDF/A will "overpower" the Link and get transmission errors.
