TF/Snap Question: Copy at 100% bad?
Hi.
This might be a basic TF/Snap question, but couldn't find any thread that clarify this for me:
We needed to create a copy of a production DB and mount it on another host to do some testing and data extraction, so we decided to create a Snap from the production devs. The array is a VMAX.
This should be a very quick test, but we keep this for some time and now this is the current status of the copy:
Device Group (DG) Name: snpSRPPROD
DG's Type : REGULAR
DG's Symmetrix ID : XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Source Device Target Device State Copy

There's one particular dev at 76%. Is there a problem if it reaches 100%? or this only means that it changes 100% of the original data and there's no problem as long a the Snap pool doesn't reach 100%?
Thanks!

no problem for that VDEV as long as there is enough space in the save pool

Yes, but there's any problem if it reaches 100% (a particular dev) or it just continue working normally if the snap pool is below 100%?
