Using Gatekeeper on Cluster Microsoft Hyper-V using "Pass-Through Disk"

Hi,

Someone has configured "gatekeeper" on a Virtual machine under a Cluster Microsoft Hyper-V using "Pass-Through Disk"

I tried but  I got this message in Virtual Machine using "Solutions Enabler"

>symcfg discover

This operation may take up to a few minutes. Please be patient...

The gatekeeper device (while using the Base Daemon) has an error (Please see the

Log file)

I searched and I found this rules on Hyper-V servers:

1. The gatekeepers cannot be cluster disks (owned by the cluster).

2. If the gatekeeper is a thin device, it must be bound to a pool

3. SCSI command filtering must be disabled using Pass-through. See document h6643-symmetrix-microsoft-hyper-v-wp.pdf

4. Native MPIO is supported on the parent Hyper-V server if using Enginuity 5876 and Solutions Enabler 7.4 or later.

My doubt to know is if is possible do this kind of configuration (GK+Pass-Through Disk+VM on Cluster HyperV+SE?

Jose Luis
