VMAX Code Upgrade > 5876
Dear All,
Is below epack mandatory before upgrading vmax code 5876_82_57? Also let me know GSPatch is necessary before and after upgrading VMAX code.
Epack 5875_249_0044_188_5007.
Currently we are:
VMAX Code : 5875.249.188
Epack : 5875_249_0061_188_5009
GSPatch: GS5875_1.0.0.8

Hi Awais,
Yes the Registered build 5875_249/0044 / 5875_188/5007 is listed in primus emc293818 (Requirements for NDU from Enginuity 5875 to Enginuity 5876) as required. This enables a pre-check prior to upgrading.
Please consult with your EMC support rep. during the planning process for any other requirements.

All patch installations are done by EMC Customer Service rep.
