i would to know when did the diskgroup is created (bin file i supposed) and how the distribution of Disk (spindles) FC /SATA and EFD is accomplished for load distribution on the backend ports.

in other words, for exemple ,on a vmax with 2 engines with 2 storage array, how did emc architect/customer to fill the DAE's for best load distribution IOs on backend ?

What is determine the position of  spindles on a DAE ? emc's allocation tools ?

knowing that disk_group are same tech / speed disks.
