VMAX FAST-VP
I have created a 2-tier FAST VP policy and as per the default settings "pool reserved capacity is 10%". If you see the above picture it reflects in the EFD pool where available capacity is 90% but in the FC pool it shows available capacity as 99% and also I have verified thin pool properties and it is also in default value "N/A". Will there be any reason or it will take time to reflect?
Thanks

It could be that Unisphere is not updated. Try to refresh symmetrix and restart the Unisphere for VMAX service (EMC Symmetrix Management Application Server) and check.

Roshan, is that a recognised way to update the Unisphere database?
Every day, I create devices, and they do not show up in Unisphere. "symcfg discover" does nothing to remedy this. Are you saying that restarting the EMC_smasdb service will update the information in the Unisphere UI? Are there further steps required also (services to restart etc)?
