VMAX space reclamation against tdevs protected by RecoverPoint (VPLEX Splitter)
I am not sure what community this question should go in. We are using the VPLEX Splitter (RecoverPoint) back-ended by a VMAX. I want to run a VMAX space reclaim against some tdevs that are part of an active RecoverPoint Consistency Group ( production or copy). Is this supported?

That guide is for SRDF. The guide "EMC Symmetrix VMAX Virtual Provisioning Space Reclamation and Application Considerations" says that the UNMAP command is not supported on devices in use by RecoverPoint. I want to verify this is for ALL RecoverPoint devices regardless of the splitter (VPLEX splitter, VMAX splitter, etc) and not just devices that use the VMAX splitter since that uses Open Replicator which does not support VMAX Space Reclamation.
