VMAX3 - Add/Removing Hosts sight of LUNs
We are doing some HA testing and have a host that is masked to some LUNs, but want to remove this host from sight of the LUNs and add an HA server sight of the LUNs, what the best way to achieve this? Through adding removing from the storage Group, I read somewhere you can have parent and child SG's, cascading? Also I presume that this would also effect the HLU's?

It sounds like you could just delete or alter the masking views to swap the hosts out versus playing around with the storage groups. Deleting the masking view won't touch any of the underlying groups, it will just remove teh view itself so the server (initiator group) doesn't see those LUNs anymore. Assuming you have your storage groups setup where all of the LUNs can be presented, I would see this as the easiest route.
