powerpath VE cannot see lun

I got a cluster with 2 hosts. one is using vmware mru and the other powerpath ve. I assigned a lun to this cluster and now only the one using vmware mru can see it. the one with powerpath cannot

any idea?

    Ideally  cluster nodes should be identical in configurations. Why do you want to manage LUNS differently from each other?
