Confused about link aggregation on VNXe3100

Hi,

Just received a 3100 and haven't had much luck in finding detailed info.

This 3100 only has the 2 x 1Gbe ports (eth2 and eth3) on each SP, SPA and SPB. I found an option to aggregate the ports but it only says eth2 and eth3. I don't get it. Which eth2 and eth3? There are 2 x eth2 and 2 x eth3. I can't figure out what is aggregating with what. And we want to use a switch that is stacked for redundancy.

And when you create the iSCSI server you can allocate ports. Can you allocate the same port over again for each iSCSI server entry and provide a different IP address each time?

I would just love to see and administration guide. I have seen the documents for vSphere 4.1 and that was great.

Any help explaining the above would be great.

Have you found any updates on this?  I need to figure out how to configure multipathing for NFS.

I'd like to know more as well.  I'll be deploying a VNXe3300 eventually and am trying to determine how I'll set up link aggregation.

Has anyone found an answer to this?  I'm also trying to configure redundant network connections for a VNXe3100 with a 3750E stack.

Hello Guys,

VNXe shows a single eth2 and eth3 on the unisphere, here eth2=eth2 of SPA and SPB same eth3.

sure you can create another iscsi server and have a different IP adress as each eth port is intern a virtual nic in DART.

Please have a look at the pics attached.

Let me know if you have difficulties understanding.
