Connect VNX storage to vSphere

Assuming you're providing iSCSI LUNs from the Storage Processors (SPs) on the VNX and not the Datamovers, there is a nice EMC TechBook on ISCSI SAN Topologies.

While the first few chapters are very heavy on the iSCSI protocol and network considerations, Chapter 4 has good examples for configuring iSCSI on VNX and connecting hosts. You should also review VMware ESX 5.x iSCSI NMP Connectivity Guide for VNX and Using VNX Storage with VMWare vSphere, both of which are pretty handy and practical.

You can also get a installation guide by going to mydocuments.emc.com and selecting VNX then under the server section, select the install new server and run the wizard - it will ask questions about your setup and then create a custom doc for you

My ISCSI is configured on the VNX and Storage is added into vSphere.

I dont moved my machines yet, need to test the failover.
