I have VNXe3100. "Configuring Time Service on VNX". Can't believe changing the time on EMC is that complicate. Is there any instruction via EMC Unisphere?
That what I thought, it is very straight forward to configure the NTP but it isn't work, after I configured the NTP, it asked to restart the box and I did restart the box but problem still exist. I have been trying to access to support.emc.com in the last couple of days but site is currently unavailable. I did google the problem and tried some other suggestion but no help. This is my first time experiencing with EMC product. It looks like you are the only person reply to my post and I really appreciate your input.

for control station NTP just the regular Linux ntp* commands and log files
for data mover NTP see server_date and the data mover log via server_log
There is also a PDF manual called "Configuring Time Service on VNX" with details available from support.emc.com

it is usually not complicated - you just configure NTP and it works
Troubleshooting why it doesnt work from GUI screenshots and guessing what might have happened is no fun on any platform.
I think even with an expired maintenance contract you should be able to access the product documentation and knowledgebase on support.emc.com
These days you can also find most manuals outside by just googling for the name

use server_log server_2 to check for error
see here How to configure NTP for a VNX Data Mover ?"
most common mistake is that the data mover doesnt have a working route to the NTP server
support.emc.com is available again
