EMC VNX5100 Raid group and connectivity
Hi All,
We are planned to buy EMC VNX 5100 (9 x 600GB, 15K SAS Drives). Which RAID group configured by default in VNX5100? I aware first five disks is the "vault,PSM,Flare DB,OS" area. How much space occupied for vault area and one morething,we have Brocade SAN switch with 8 Ports licensed. already we connected 4 ports to VMware hosts and 2 ports for existing EMC celerra NX4 array.we have only two ports remaining. After purchase VNX storage, can i connect the array to those two ports?can i configure 4 Vmware hosts as a storage group in two different array.is both array's LUNs will visible to all 4 hosts? Please suggest me. please note that no zoning configured in san switch.
