Help with initialization of VNX5300
I am arriving on site and power on the EMC 5300 but the boot of the SP looks wrong, this is the message I saw in /var/log/messages:

Double – check the cabling
Make sure you install and power on according to the hardware installation guide

Thank you very much for answer me, I already check the cabling following the Installation Guide P/N 300-012-923 Rev05
Any other idea??

This is the guide that I am following, I am using ethernet cat 5e cables to connect CS0 to the Blade, I am using the conenctor for the B conextion

The two interfaces that it is complaining eth0 and eth2 are the ones that connect the control station to the data movers.
Either your cabling is wrong, the DME isn’t powered on – my best guess
Make sure you only connect eth3 to the outside network – all others should be internal
Also verify that 128.221.x.x isn’t used in the customer network
If that doesn’t work I suggest to call the EMC support phone or use the customer service live chat

I just avoid the power connection picture, all is corrected I dont know if you have another advise, which eth3 did you refer?

There are 4 physical Ethernet ports on the control station – eth0,1,2,3
