How to do a failover on file systems with CIFS implementation?

 

Hello everybody,

I have a pair of VNX5300 that are replicating between them File systems with CIFS protocol. To Have more detail for example we have this configuration:

How can I do a safe test of the failover? On the Primary VNX5300, we have configured a VDM (Virtual DataMover), under this VMD 3 File Systems and 1 Cifs Server. The File systems and the Virtual Datamover are replicating with the Secondary VNX5300 now.

We need to test the Disaster Recovery site and for this reason we need to do a failover of the file systems. My question is How can I do a safe failover and then back to the original source again?

Please if someone can help me to do it.
