IOMeter Profile for VNX
Hello all,
IHAC who is asking for preconfigured IOMeter Profiles, where could i find IOMeter configurations to Test VNX?
or what are the Best Practice (different Workloads) settings for VNX Performance Tests?

Oh, it's my first time of getting to know that EMC provides preconfigured IOmeter profiles for VNX testing. That would be great if it was true.
If they don't provide them, I think we may try the profiles as below:

I believe it should depend on customer's environment and requirement. Performance is a big topic. In this whitepaper http://www.emc.com/collateral/hardware/white-papers/h8162-vmware-vnxe-vsphere-wp.pdf, EMC listed some workloads.
However IOPS test is for small and ramdom I/O, for sequential and large I/O, we usually test bandwidth (MB/s). Also somtimes latency is more important to host applications. You can refer to what Microsoft did:
SQLIO, PowerShell and storage performance: measuring IOPs, throughput and latency for both local disks and SMB file shar…
In addition, if you have more than one storage device to be tested, you should have the same testing framework (same testing profiles, same disk/RAID configurations, etc.).
