Monitoring VNX 5500\5400 via Nagios\Opsview
Hi
I have both VNX 5400 and 5500 which I'd like to monitor via the company's Nagios instance.
What's my best option?
Is there Linux CLI or SNMP available?

Yes navicli supports both 5400 and 5500
Check if you have a recent version installed – a navicli version back from the VNX1 days could have problems with a VNX2
Another option for monitoring would be UniSphere Central – which is free of charge for VNX customers and supports both
You can download it from support.emc.com and give it a try

A CLI for VNX is available – which one depends on whether your VNX is block only or file/unified
You can find an overview on support.emc.com by searching for VNX command referenence for block|file on support.emc.com
I am not aware of a ready Nagios plugin – but Nagios is open source so things might have changed since the last time I looked

Both are Blocks.
I suppose you mean the NAVISphere CLI?
It shows that it supports VNX 5500 among others but cant see VNX 5400.
Am I to assume it also supports VNX 5400?
