Storage Pool Oversubscription Limit on VNX

I'm not sure I understand your question.

A pool provisioned with thick LUNs can never be oversubscibed.  Thick LUN capacity is reserved when thick LUNs are bound.  A pool provisioned with thin LUNs is intended to be 'oversubscribed'.  Alerts will be generated as oversubscription becomes immenent.

I understand that a pool can consist of both thick and thin LUNs. On a VMAX you can configure a maximum subscription ratio for a thin pool (This ratio is the total host-perceived capacity of thin devices, divided by physical thin pool capacity). This prevents you from provisioning any more LUNs once that limit is reached. For example, I can set a max_subs_percent=125, which would enable a max of 125% oversubscription. I was wondering if the VNX provided similar capabilities.

You do not have that feature available on VNX. What you can see from Unisphere is the over-subscription value - so you would know that you have over subscribed your pool by 150% (for example). Also, you would get alerts when the consumed capacity reaches the pool capacity. You can set the threshold at which you want to start receiving these alerts.
