We installed java 1.8, installed Unisphere windows Client. Unisphere client launches and gets to the IP address prompt to connect. After entering the IP address certificate error comes up. There is no the usual window that comes with certificate error that allows to verify. Has EMC been able to provide a combination that works?
On the other hand, we added all the VNX IP addresses in Java Exception, and launch IE. The bowser loads and finally hangs just before the login window.

Download Unisphere for VNX (VNX Launcher) software from Dell support. Give it a try

you can use IE with Java 1.8. but you need to add IP address to java exception.
or you can user Chrome with IE tab extention.
