VNXe3200 Setting Parameters and Local User on CIFS Server

Hi all,

How do you change advanced parameters (like with nas:param on the VNX) and create local users on a VNXe3200?

I look through the Logs and saw some commands like "server_config", like i am used to on the VNX, but how do i get to them? The /nas/bin directory on the Storage Processor says access denied and i expect to find a lot of what i am looking for in there.

And any clue about the initial local Administrator on a VNXe CIFS server that is joined to a domain? Is there some advanced stuff i can use when i integrate those kind of storage systems?

There are currently no user setable parameters on the VNXe3200

Creating local users is that same as on VNX through Windows tools like MMC

What i meant was something like the "local_user" option inside the server_cifs command to create a local Administrator.

Standalone CIFS servers always have local users enabled

For domain joined CIFS server I think you can select it with the GUI when you create it but I haven’t checked that on a 3200

Unfortunately there is no option for a domain joined CIFS server.
