What's wrong with my primary control station?

Have a VNX 5500 Series block configuration with two control stations.  both control stations power on and from the front both have all green lights.  However, the primary control station management and serial ports do not respond nor show link light.   There are also Red lights on the POST diagnostic LED's.  I can't seem to find anywhere that says what those lights mean.    Anyone know anyway to find out what's wrong with this system?   I also tried using the VGA adapert but don't get any video (even after rebooting with the vga plugged in).   The only lights I do get are link lights for the CS-CS port, and the CS-SPB Management port.    So i'm wondering if the system is completly dead or just in a weird state, and is there anyway to restore it?    Lastly,  I've tried to use the secondary control station, but that won't "takeover" because it can't talke to the primary.   From the secondary controlstation I get    ./getreason       0 - slot_0 reset   6 - slot_1 control station ready

The VGA port isnt active

You need to connect to the serial port using the cable that came with the system

Power-Cycle the CS

Make sure you use the correct speed/parity (see knowledgebase) setting on your terminal program

If you still don’t see Linux booting on the serial then you most likely have a hardware problem
