Audio Drivers
Hey I am using vostro 3491 which was purchased just 2 to 3 months back within one month of usage I realized
that there are some issues with Sound department- Audio jack was not picking up any headphones, Bluetooth headphones were also troubling a lot , but as my device was warranted so I decided to contact dell support and Microsoft Support for the same- And literally 1 month has passed on and it is me only who got the issue... They made me do everything ranging from sfc scans to reset or reinstall of windows, but all in vain. Actually problem was with Realtek HD Audio driver dated 17 Nov , size- 590mb approx. This driver fixed the issue with audio jack but gave out a more big one- what this did is it lets generate Multiple Listings of same device that were clearly visible - when you check hidden devices under view- menu in Device Manager. And only one technician was able to point out this, But he also couldn't provide me a solution. This multiple files used to deteriorate my sound experience. But now after a reinstall I made every update to my pc very carefully. So again I encountered problem with audio jack so when I updated the dell recommended Realtek driver - multiple files issue started again... This is how I the discovered it... Now all I want is a bug free driver from dell which can solve the issue
Dell Support and other techies I request you all to look into the issue and do the needful
PF attachments for the better understanding

The issue is not solved yet -- audio driver is not perfect -- it is causing again malfunctioning in audio jack
I request dell people to release a bug free audio driver again

If Roll Back option is greyed out, expand Realtek High Definition Audio Driver in your Dell Product Support page, view Older Versions and Important information, hopefully this will help.

" So again I encountered problem with audio jack so when I updated the dell recommended Realtek driver - multiple files issue started again..."
-------------------------------
Expand 'Sound, Video and Game Controllers' in device manager, right click Realtek driver, select Properties, click on Driver and then Roll back driver. Hopefully this fix the problem.
If the above step doesn't fix the problem, check Realtek com for a updated driver for the computer:

It's probably best to reinstall windows 10....
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After installing windows, reinstall drivers in the correct order - see link below):
