Battery check
Vostro 15 3568
Iam given my laptop for ssd upgrade and ram upgrade to local vendor. And also told him to change battery. How to know is the battery is original or not for my Vostro laptop
Note. My hdd is kept in hdd case and like now it became external hard disk. Is this idea fine by laptop repair guy or should I use the hdd with caddy

If the battery is original/OEM, it's at least a few years old as this system dates from 2017, and the very newest OEM batteries would be from 2021 or so. The only way to know is to ask the installer.
You can use a hard drive either way, but if it's being used for critical backups and is original to the system, keep an additional backup on some other media -- this drive is beyond its design life.
