dell vostro 1540 cpu upgrade
Hello. I have a laptop with the following specifications:
dell vostro 1540
cpu : core i3 380m socket : 989 rPGA
2 * 4 gb ram
I want to upgrade the CPU and according to my studies, I want to get one of these two CPUs:
core i5 580m
core i7 620m
Chipset: hm57 havendale clarkdale host bridge
bios : dell inc A04
I want to know which one of these CPUs are suitable for my system and whether the heat produced by the new CPU (any of the two CPUs in question) will damage the system or is the current cooling system suitable?

The systems did ship with i3 and i5 CPUs, but not i7s, so the i5 should work. Both the i3 and i5 use the same TDP, so they should produce about the same level of heat.
