Regarding ePSA 2000-0131 error code

I have a Dell Vostro 3559 i5 laptop.

I have observed that the laptop gets shut down automatically when the AC adapter is removed from the laptop. I have observed that the battery was fully charged and there was no error in the diagnostic test. The problem is solved after resetting the operating system. Then I updated the system and drivers

Now Its power LED is blinking, then I got ePSA 2000-0131 error code from diagnostics test. The battery icon has a cross mark and an error message "No battery is detected". I brought this battery from Dell branch on 31/12/2019

I tried to update the BIOS but couldn't do it without enough battery power. help me to update BIOS without battery?

Is this a battery error, an AC adapter error, a BIOS error, or a motherboard error? Can anyone help me?

Thank you so much for answering me. I used this battery according to the "Dell YouTube" channel instructions. I was only able to use it for nine months. The AC adapter is also an original, what is the cause of this error?

In the meantime, error code 2000-0131 means an error occurred during the tests that may involve the main system board or battery of the system. I would suggest removing the battery to see if it will fix the error code by following the steps below.

1. Power off system, remove all peripherals, AC adapter and battery. Press " Power On" button for 15 seconds to release Static Flea Power.

2. Replace battery, adapter, power on system. Hopefully there's no more error code.

As for the no boot device:

I suggest you Reset the BIOS to Default Values to see if that will fix the error.

Consider buying a new laptop before spending anything on this 4 year model. Batteries and adapters must come from Dell or Dell Parts not an unknown seller on a marketplace like Amazon. Many online scams with replacement batteries. Also batteries don't last as long as previous batteries and it is very difficult to find real replacement batteries now. Try using the adapter alone with the battery removed. If that works use it as a desktop replacement until you can buy a new laptop.

Thank you so much for replying. I follow those steps but the problem still exists. I replaced the old battery and this problem was not there. It could be a battery fault

Thanks for replying to my. I brought this battery from the Dell branch in Sri Lanka. I used this battery according to the "Dell YouTube" channel instructions. I was only able to use it for nine months. Not only this battery problem, I have had to face several such incidents before. I was really disappointed with the quality of the Dell laptops. Is there a way to complain about the quality of Dell laptops?
