Hi, After installation i always check the Windows Device Manager but i never lacked a driver. This drive has never been missing (i have reinstalled windows several times). So far everything is working perfectly.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We will assist you regarding this.
Before you notice "*DellProf" as unknown device in device manager, was there any application or software installed?
DellProf is the Dell System Analyzer Control Device, it might have already being installed hence you are seeing "*DellProf" in the device manager.
There is nothing that isn't working incorrectly because of this device manager notification. If you are planing to reinstall the operating system, you don't have to worry about it. We suggest you to back up the data and reinstall the operating system, it should be fine.
If you need any further assistance, please private message your system service tag or the express service code for us to get the system details.
Sorry to write again on this topic, but I am still concerned about this problem. I read the posts the link pointed to, but I didn't get smarter with it.
I would like to ask: Where can I find the Dell System Analyzer Control Device (* DellProf) driver on my hard drive?

Hi, I read through this topic, but couldn't find a solution.
"unknown devices in device manager in xps 13 9350"
The last time I installed windows, I chose to completely reinstall by cleaning the disk.
It may have been too much.
I sent the service tag.
Thanks.
