vostro 5402 have problem with hinge ?
We bought many vostro5402 in one the hinge mount just broke off. I've found a few similar cases on google. Is this a manufacturing defect?? Dell considered it a mechanical failure, although there is no external damage. I have another model in which after 3 years each copy has a damaged hinge mounting. Has this happened to any of you and dell claims it's your fault? Can a manufacturer refuse a warranty? how can you prove the fault of the user if there is no damage

Hey I have also a Vostro 5402 and whenever I open laptop my there is a very less but noticable noise and same while closing my and whenever I try to adjust my laptop screen sometime again feels the sound is it a hinge problem although my laptop was not dropped . for the soma thing I communicated to the support services and they are saying if it is a problem with hinge they will cover in the accdential warranty . Could you please me with this ?
