VPlex and backend storage QoS

Hi there,

I'm today managing a metro config with VS6 hardware.

I can't find any documentation about that, but how is handled backend qos (on storage volumes) on the VPlex layer ?

As the VPlex acts as a host to its backend storage, i have today some doubts that restrictive iops qos on a BE storage volume wouldnt impact other volumes in a situation where, those luns would share the same BE and FE ports.

Any doc about that ?

There is no public facing document regarding backend QoS, but this has been tested internally with VMAX. We did not see an impact to other volumes when some were throttled via QoS
