disk utilization alert

Hi,

Please can you help me understand why I am getting an alert on disk utilization? The alert is saying " Disk Utilization 82.75%. A disk Bottleneck is being detected" but the i/o rate is no higher than 4kb. Is it saying that the performance is affected? Logging onto the server there does not appear to be any performance issues.
