Java connector and env variable

Hello,

When we connect to RDSH farm with java connectore we get a CLIENTNAME environment variable a IP address of the client device, but when we connect to RDSH farm with ordinary connectore we get a CLIENTNAME variable a hostname of the client device.

We are using an published app which depends on correct CLIENTNAME variable (it must be a hostname, not IP)

Is there any way to force java client to set CLIENTNAME variable to hostname?

Hello Robert,

I believe the problem that results in the behaviour you described has been identified as a defect in the current vWorkspace Java Connector. We have an open defect with the description 'Java connector not passing correct information on device/connector' and the ID 213704. This item is being reviewed by the development team and is currently scheduled to be resolved in the next vWorkspace Java Connector release.
