Quest VDI Assessment Agent
Hello, thank you for making this tool available for free. I have some question about the agent that is install on desktops.
1. Does the agent install a network driver that is inspecting or modifying network traffic?
2. Is there difference in what data can be collected if install is with Group Policy versus running installation locally on each desktop?
3. Does thie agent interfere with VPN connections?

Hello Johan,
Thank you for using VDI Assessment. Excuse the late response (due to Christmas holidays).
Here are some answers to your questions:
1. We measure: network latency, IO bandwidth use (kbps) and login delay, but aren't modifying any of the packets.
2. The "Windows Standard Version" and "AD Group Policy - Standard Version" provide exactly the same functionality. It's just a different deployment mechanism (installer versus MSI). However, the "Windows Network Version" supplies less data, as described in the UI.
3. We haven't seen any issues: I use it with VPN all the time.
