Hello Maarten,
Maxdop set to 0 (Which I believe it is by default) works for most people.
How many processors do you have on your SQL box?

This should not be a concern with only 2 processors. This is for when you have a lot of processors and want to limit the execution to a number lower than the maximum.

The SQL server has 2 vCPU's.
