Tweaking the web access login page?

Hi,

We've been using vWorkspace for around a year (on 7.1 now) and we're currently testing 7.2 MR1. What are the chances of being able to do this in the web access login page?

1. Windows client version warning does not pop up at all

2. Connector selection list only shows Windows and Java connectors

3. The connector type gets remembered in a cookie

Thanks,

Damien.

Hi Damien,

Thanks for the feedback.

For suggestions 1 and 3, we will certainly look into these are see whether we can include them in a future release.

For item 2, I can confirm that this is simplfied on the next release of Web Access targeted for release in Q3/Q4.

The behaviour will be that if the Java Connector is enabled for use, then users will simply get the option to select whether to use the Java Connector on the login screen for that session (it will be a simple 'Use Java Connector?' question with a checkbox). If the option is not selected by the user for their login, Web Access will automatically use the Windows/Mac/Linux Connectors without the user being required which one to actually use.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

-Keith
