About xrail and vmware liciences
Dear sir/madam,
I am a IT man, relating to vxrail of dell i have a question about it.
we are designing a hci system when we estimating budget for it (in case of using vxrail) we are wondering wether we could buy vxrail and vmware liciences seperately or not.

Both is possible ... and we do it in the past. Also "mixed" for those customers which already have vSphere licenses and only needed vSAN.
Right now its not possible to buy VMware vSphere together with any Dell gear. They are working on and it should be possible in the near future togher with 3Y subscription and with some luck also with 5Y.
Rumors says that Dell, HPE and Lenowo are the only three which are allowed to sell vSphere as OEM.

today was the accouncement that you can buy VxRail together with VMware Subscription(VCF and VVF) from Dell.
