2 operating systems?

Question

When I start up my laptop, I am prompted to select a operating system.  One of them works but the other doesn't.  Is there anyway to get rid of the one that doesn't work?

Hold the flag key down and tap the R key, type in msconfig hit OK, go to the BOOT.INI Tab and hit "check all boot paths" see if it finds an invalid path, after it is done hit OK.

Reboot the PC, you will get a msconfig nag pop up, check the tick box and hit OK.

what is the 'flag key'?

If your keyboard has one, it is between the ctrl and alt keys on the left side, also known as the Windows key.   If there is not one, do a Start>Run Message Edited by mombodog on 09-17-2008 09:17 PM
