A Happy Vista user!!

Seems I read so much negative stuff...  Just wanted to add my 2 cents:  I love the "eye candy," the whole experience.  I haven't had ANY problems...  I've been using since early March.

I second all that. I love it when a plan comes togather.

Care less about the eye candy.  Do want the added security.   I to have had absolutely no issues to report from this new OS at this time.  Just takes a little getting used to, which is normal for anything new.  I also did not have any issues because I did the home work first, made sure the drivers for my add on hardware were burned to a disk for later install, as well as knowing which software did have problems.  Always good to install clean, not an upgrade, and most importantly, do so on a newer system, and not some entry level or much older system, which will have issues at some point.

Same here, I LOVE Vista, I really am thrilled with the search functions, rather than looking through folder & tree after tree, all I have to do now is start typing in the name and let the machine find it WOW!

It takes some getting used to giving up old conventions but I LOVE IT!
By the way, all my old programs including Word Perfect v9 work without a hitch, I had to install a couple of updates & the newest ATI (7.4) driver but it is all good.

Heck, I've said it before so I will say it again.  VISTA is great.  Runs all my old peripherals w/o a hitch.  Got the needed drivers automatically everytime I need them.

I'll put my 2 cents in too. I've had Vista Premium for 3 months now and love it. The eye candy is nice, the network configuration is totaly automatic and on my 2BG memory laptop, Vista breezes along very fast.

Like Vista so far. No problems, for awhile I thought I was the only one that it worked for. Glad to hear others like it.
