Active Desktop Error

We had a power outage, upon rebooting I get a "click here to restore active desktop" when I do this I get a script error for IE.

I did a system restore, now have no active desktop option. If I log in as administrator everthing works fine.

First thing is log into that user profile and clear the IE browser cache and temp files.

If that doesn't fix it, that user profile may be corrupted. You may have to create a new profile with the same level of access and take ownership of the files belonging to the original profile. Once that's done, you can delete the corrupt profile.

You can find info on "ownership" at start>help & support and then entering ownership in the search box.
