Okay, I found the file mm_tray.exe there in the Startup list.
Then, by googling it, I verified that it is indeed part of the Music Match Jukebox that I'd uninstalled.
SO, not to seem too dumb, but how do I remove it? It along with everything else there is "checked."
Do I uncheck it or can I actually dispose of it somehow?

              You would just 'uncheck' this item in the msconfig, click the 'apply' button, restart the computer, click the 'Do not show this again' button.  This should resolve your problem, as actual removal at this point would involve some Registry modifications which would not be advisable.

Thanks to the people who replied here. That worked and the problem is (appears to be) over.
