Another #2 device..."1394 Net adapter #2" how to fix
Title says it all. In device manager under network devices I see a "1394 Net adapter #2". Also, under network connections it says "1394 connection 5 (1394 Net adapter #2)". I've uninstalled the "1394 net adapter #2" in the device manager, but everytime windows detects the device as #2 upon reboot. No other 1394 net adapters are present as far as I know. Also each time the "connection #" i.e. 5 increases. Call me obsessive, but any way to clean this up? Changes to XPS system: Linksys wireless-g pci adapter, Audigy 2 ZS.
Thanks,
-Adam

Sterndogg02,
Based on the tech specs for your system, it comes with "IEEE 1394: Two IEEE 1394 (firewire) ports - 1 front/1 back". The Audigy 2 ZS also has a firewire port built in, therefore you will see another firewire device aptly named "1394 Net adapter #2". I do not believe there is a way to clean this up.
