Application Error

when ever I start some programs, such as iTunes, this thing comes up which says,
 
"the exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x7814da91. Click OK to terminate the program."
 
and iTune and other things does not come up. It worked fine until last week, and i did not install any
 
new programs. Can someone please help me?

Since this is recent, you could try doing a System Restore to latest date available when you know it was ok. Personal files and software will be ok, but you will have to reinstall any XP updates originally installed after the date used for the restore.

Click start>help&support
Click "Undo changes..."
Follow prompts and pick last date available when you know it was ok. Then go to MS update site ASAP and let it scan your system for and install any missing updates.
