Cannot remove files from add/remove program

I'm in the process of reinstalling my Epson RX 500 multifunction printer, and I can't get rid of the three files in my ADD/REMOVE program:

Epson Cardmonitor
Epson Photostarter
Espon Scan

The error message I got when I tried to remove it:

"An installation support file could not be installed.
The system cannot find the file specified."

Will I need to dig in the registry, or is there a patch to deal with this?

thanks in advance!

I am assuming that there is no uninstall application in that folder?
This has happened to me before a couple times. I have that problem as a matter of fact right now on an application.
It has been my experience that this won't cause you a problem. It will just take up a bit of space on the hard drive.
Chances are if you do have that uninstall file when you execute it you will get the same error message.

That could be the case where I'm missing the uninstall file. Dadnabbit!

If it really bugs you I am sure that someone can help you get rid of it.

A quick Google search for ["Epson Scan"+uninstall] without the brackets returned this. The uninstallers may be on your disc.
