Cannot view folder properties

Question

I don't know if this has anything to do with SP2. But, I was working on a database the other day, and I noticed I cannot view the properties of any folders, even ones I've just created. I recently turned off simple file sharing, which I noticed SP2 turned back on. I know that before the service pack I could view the properties to set the folder securities properly, but now I cannot.   Does anyone have a similar problem, or perhaps a fix for this problem?

Try restoring the system to a date prior to the onset of the problem or even try a repair install of windows. If all else fails a try uninstalling the updates. If this still does not fix the problem you may need to format and reinstall.
