Changing system name
I knew better but forgot. When I first activated my new system it asked for a name and like an idiot I put my whole name in there. Now most of the cookies get branded with my name. What I can't remember is how to change that. I've looked all over, but I guess I'm searching on the wrong terms... Help!
Thanks, Bob

The cookies should include the name of the user account which was used when the cookie was accepted (Documents and Settings\ User\Cookies). To change that you need an account which does not include your full name. One way to accomplish this is to create a new account with the name you wish to use and copy the old account to it, then delete the old account. See this.
If I misunderstood your post and you wish to choose the registered user information on the system, the file that will enable you to make that registry edit is here.
