Have not heard of the 30 day, 90 day settings, but you can change the Disk Space Usage by clicking of System Restore, and click on the system restore settings on the left side of the box near the middle...Is this what you are talking about ?
If you are running Windows XP go to Start|Run, enter
regedit and click OK. In the registry navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SystemRestore. Change the value of RPLifeInterval there from 7,776,000 to 2,592,000.
SR45, I appreciate the effort, but that isn't what I was meaning. I am familiar with the % disk settings.
Denny, my problem is I get so far in the regedit and that is where it gets perplexing. Once I get to the System Restore folder, I have two folders within it--one is Cfg, which has what looks like 3 files that are Default, Disk Percent and machine Guild; and the other is Snapshot Callbacks, which has a file with Default in it. I knew there was something regarding changing the number of seconds, but that is where I was lost. I don't see a RPLife Interval within the System Restore folder.
Denny, I kept going back from time to time and today I tried clicking ON the System Restore folder and I found what you were talking about. Thanks. I do have one more question on this. Do I need to do anything about the "0x0076a700" or is changing that number in parenthesis the ONLY thing I do?

At the key that Denny gave, right click on RPLifeInterval, click modify. Click the decimal radio button, enter the number that Denny gavee, click OK. That will change both the hexadecimal and decimal values.
