Copy and Paste feature not working
I am on Windows xp Pro and all of a sudden I am unable to copy and paste.
If I highlight content from within a web browser IE or Avant Browser, I am able to highlight it, I am able to select copy from the drop down menu but then when i go to paste it into either the googles search bar or the address bar or even simply to note pad it is not working. I even tried writing text in notepad and copying and pasting it but nothing.
In addition, I am unable to copy and paste objects from one explorer folder to another. As well as working with programs such as Paint Shop Pro or Animation shop, while I used to be able to copy files from these programs that is no longer working.
If I copy to the address bar it acts as if it is pasting but then it just appears blank once the operation is complete.
I just recieved these alerts for the first time....I don't know if they apply

Try this:
Open Internet Explorer.
On the menu bar, choose Tools > Internet Options.
Click the Security tab.
Select the Internet zone and click the Custom Level button. The Security Settings window opens.
Scroll down to the Scripting section of Settings.
Under Allow paste operations via script select Enable or Prompt.
Click OK to close the Security Settings window.
Click Yes when asked if you want to change security settings for this zone.
Click OK again to close the Internet Options window.
